Erin brings a nutritional lens to her work with every client. For those who want dedicated support, she offers one-on-one nutrition sessions, built around your specific needs. Together you will explore food sensitivities, supplement protocols, and the nutritional foundations of nervous system health.
Research continues to show the deep relationship between nutrition and pain, inflammation, hormonal balance, and mood. Erin draws on nutritional science to make recommendations that are grounded in evidence and tailored to your body’s unique needs.
Food sensitivities are not the same as food allergies. While allergies trigger an immediate immune response, sensitivities involve a slower, delayed reaction that can appear hours or even days after eating the offending food. This delay makes them notoriously difficult to identify on your own.
When the gut lining is compromised, partially digested food particles can enter the bloodstream and trigger a low-grade inflammatory response throughout the body.
Persistent fatigue is one of the most common complaints Erin hears. It’s also one of the most misunderstood. Fatigue is rarely just about sleep.
At the cellular level, fatigue often reflects one or more underlying issues:
Common and overlooked nutrient drivers include iron, ferritin, B12, vitamin D, magnesium, and CoQ10. Women, vegetarians, and those with chronic pain or ongoing stress are especially prone to these deficiencies. For women, monthly menstrual blood loss is one of the most direct drivers of low iron, a pattern many live with for decades without connecting it to their fatigue.
Many of these deficiencies exist even when standard lab work comes back normal. Conventional reference ranges are designed to identify disease, not optimize function.
The supplement industry in the United States is largely unregulated. Unlike pharmaceuticals, supplements do not require FDA approval before reaching store shelves, which means potency, purity, and bioavailability vary
dramatically between brands. Studies have found that a significant percentage of retail supplements contain less of the active ingredient than stated on the label, or use forms of nutrients the body cannot efficiently absorb.
High-quality supplements are third-party tested and use bioavailable forms of each nutrient, such as methylfolate instead of folic acid, or magnesium glycinate instead of magnesium oxide, and are free from fillers and allergens that can interfere with absorption. These are the professional-grade products Erin sources and recommends through her Fullscript dispensary.
The minimum amount of a nutrient needed to prevent deficiency disease in a healthy population. Established as a baseline, not a target for optimal function or therapeutic use.
The amount shown in clinical research to support a measurable functional benefit. Often higher than the RDA, and always individualized based on your health history, labs, and goals.
For example, the RDA for vitamin D is 600 to 800 IU per day, enough to prevent rickets. Conventional labs consider levels above 30 ng/mL sufficient, but functional and integrative research points to a higher range, often 40 to 60 ng/mL, for immune function, bone density, mood regulation, and inflammation support. Many practitioners find that most adults cannot reach this range on RDA doses alone. Magnesium tells a different story: most adults don’t consume even the RDA of 310 to 420mg daily through diet alone, and functional dosing for nervous system support, sleep, and muscle recovery often falls at the higher end of or above that range, closer to 400 to 500mg daily.
Nutrition consults are available on a limited basis. Erin keeps these sessions intentionally small so every client receives her full attention and a truly individualized plan.
